For five years I had been visiting, in north Kilkenny, an area called Inchmore (the Great Island). It is a rural area that the river Nore runs through, peaceful, quiet and beautiful. At one time it had a castle called Inchmore castle erected by Robert Grace, now just a ruin. Eventually I moved to this area and uncannily into a farmhouse that is said was built from the stone of Inchmore castle, during the famine times. 

Amid the tranquil countryside, creations flourish. From making scented soaps from natural goodness to the sweet mixture of body butters to the busy bee Lip Balms. All are natural and scented with sweet healing scents. 

The magic of the countryside never fails to impress and feeds the imagination with wonderful creations.  From fairy forts to ancient sites and the whisperings of the underground, the nymphs, the fairies and the little people emit an excitement for me to create. My ceramic Fairy houses, Nymphs and The Little People are born from this area. As I make and create I cannot help but giggle and smile and be grateful for this place; Inchmore and Inchmore craft.
